Why attend CTC 2013?

Education! Education! Education!

This year's conference theme is "What's the Big Idea?" — which says a lot about what we hope everyone will take away from CTC. We have built an education program that will make you think about today's challenges — and tomorrow's opportunities. Every track will work from a “business problem” approach, and wrap up with a “Where will we be in 2023?” session, designed to highlight the Big Ideas. It's a fresh approach to CTC, and one we think you are going to love. The program will cover six main tracks:

  • Self-Represented Litigants
  • Judicial Officials' Use of Court Technology
  • Management of Court IT
  • Video Remote Interpretation
  • Reaping the Benefits of Court Technology
  • Next-Gen CMS and DMS

And as always, representatives from the Center on Courtroom Technology (CCLT), aka Courtroom 21, will be showcasing their wares.

More information than ever - courtesy of our program sponsors

CTC attendees always request more time with, and more information from, our vendors. This year, we have relied on our friends with the Forum on the Advancement of Court Technology (FACT) to choose eight outstanding, full-length education sessions directly from the court vendor community. If vendors aren't for you, don't worry. You will have six other education tracks to choose from. Stay tuned for more details on which presentations FACT has chosen to be featured as CTC Program Sponsors.

Don't miss the Exhibit Hall

You won't find a bigger court technology exhibit hall anywhere. Join us and over 100 exhibitors on the hall floor to get product demonstrations, discuss your court's challenges directly with company representatives, and learn about the latest and greatest solutions. As always, there will be lots of food and drink — and lots of great prizes giveaways.

Inspiring plenary speakers

It's a "Big Ideas" conference - so come prepared to be wowed by our keynote and midnote speakers, who will challenge you to think outside the box and peer into the future. And new for CTC 2013: an “endnote” presentation by court veterans who will recap what they saw at CTC, and wrap up your conference experience with a downloadable summary of the meeting. You will be able to take this back to your court, and hopefully it will inspire you to implement some "big ideas" at home.
